To celebrate the launch of Peacock’s newest original series The Continental, based on the John Wick universe, Complex took a ride with none other than the Hip Hop legend himself, Grandmaster Flash, to learn about New York City in the ‘70s. Flash provides reverence for each stop in the city that not only resonated with him but with the culture of the era. We got to hear the exciting tales from the hip-hop icon, who both exemplifies and emphasizes the importance of authenticity in that era.
